Their earnest and tenacious efforts strengthen our community, and by extension, our connection to one another,” said Mayor Bieter. “We are grateful for their commitment to spark curiosity, initiate collaboration, foster dialogue, and offer opportunities to reflect and grow.”
Award recipients must have demonstrated distinguished service, creative accomplishment, or other work to benefit the artistic, historic, and broader cultural life of Boise. The awards began in 1986; to date, nearly 120 individuals and organizations have been recognized since its inception.

Award recipients will be honored at a cocktail-style reception and awards presentation on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Boise Depot. Light buffet supper will be served and a no-host bar available.The Boise City Department of Arts & History will host the event, and Mayor Bieter will present the awards.
