The awards honor residents, businesses and organizations that exemplify how good neighbors improve and enhance our community. Awards will be presented to neighbors who have been nominated by their peers for going out of their way to help those around them. Nominations are due by Thursday, August 31.
“Great neighborhoods are the cornerstone of a livable city, and Boise is fortunate to have a thriving network of active neighborhoods in all parts of the city,” said Mayor David Bieter. “Good neighbors are what makes good neighborhoods, so we are honored to recognize those who make such an important contribution to our city.”
The Energize Boise Celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 28 in the Boise City Council Chambers at Boise City Hall (3rd Floor). During the first hour of the celebration, attendees will discover the projects being led by residents throughout Boise and learn more about the city. Immediately following, Mayor Bieter will present the Good Neighbor Awards. Event details can be found online at EnergizeOurNeighborhoods.org.
