Parks and Recreation Commissioners

Proposes and recommends rules and regulations for all Boise City Parks and Recreation facilities in connection with the maintenance, operation, management, control, and use of all the public park grounds, park and recreation facilities, open space, zoos, and cemeteries in the City.  

Meeting: All meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of the month and will begin at 4:00 p.m. Meetings will be held at Boise City Hall, 150 N. Capitol Boulevard, on the 3rd Floor, Building 1, in the City Council Chambers unless otherwise noted on the monthly Boise City Parks and Recreation Commission Agenda. More Information.

Total Members: 9 members

Length of Term: All appointments and terms of office of the Parks and Recreation Commission shall be for a term of three (3) years; provided that the student member shall be appointed to a term not to exceed one (1) year. Appointments to fill a vacancy, or to complete and unexpired term, shall be for the remainder of the unexpired term only.
